An absolutely incredible villa in the most beautiful residence! On collecting the keys from the concierge, the first time we opened the door to the villa and saw the incredible sea views, we were speechless. It is a view you will never tire of. The villa is beautiful inside and out, perfectly placed in the residence to benefit from the morning and early afternoon sun and becomes a little shadier in the early evening, making it perfect for lounging on the terrace in the evening, surrounded by the sound of cicadas and frogs singing. The villa is incredibly well equipped, each room is spacious, luxurious and the beautiful bathrooms with outdoor shower made the daily washing routine very special. The main living area is perfectly proportioned, bright, very comfortable, the large sofas would make it a very easy social space for more than two people (we were staying as a couple alone). The kitchen looked brand new and everything worked perfectly. The air-conditioning throughout the villa, combined with the incredibly comfortable beds and bed linen, meant we slept very well. Each morning we were gently awakened by the rising and the lighting of the bay, which we could see from our bedroom window. The residence was beautiful, well maintained, safe and welcoming. The beach and pool were an absolute joy. We often had the whole infinity pool to ourselves (we were at the villa in early June). Lili au Lagon (the residence restaurant) served delicious lunches and tapas in the evening (evenings were Friday and Saturday only). The atmosphere there was relaxed and cool. It was a great place to watch kitesurfing off the beach (there is a water sports centre in the residence). All in all, a really wonderful accommodation. Very convenient access to other parts of the island and the airport. We felt we had completely found Carine's villa. We will return as we are completely in love with the villa, the residence and Martinique.
